Available to any foreign national currently in Shanghai on a valid L Tourist
or F Business visa, who is taking up employment with a foreign or local company
in Shanghai. Normally valid for 1 year. |

Available for those holding a Working Visa. The residence permit is also issued

As part of our Work and Residence Permit services, we make all arrangements
for the mandatory health examination. |
HEALTH CHECK
The medical consists of a questionnaire on any past or present health conditions; 
an x- ray (lungs, heart), an ultrasound (liver, gall-bladder), an ECG (heart)
and a blood test. The blood test includes a test for HIV and Syphilis.
HIV- negative tests will be required from teachers and students planning to live
in China for more than 6 months.
The examination usually takes an hour but it depends on how busy the clinic is.
It takes about a week to get the results and they can be sent by mail.
